British fishermen devastated in fear Brexit trade deal won’t be completed for ANOTHER year
FISHERMEN have been dealt a devastating blow after Brexit trade talks were slowed by the coronavirus pandemic.
Fishing for Leave, the official campaign of the fishing industry, expressed their disappointment at the pause in talks which leave the group in limbo. They tweeted: “Some more bad news. Extra time takes us into another fishing year, allowing the EU to enact legislation detrimental to us.
“What is there on documentation that can’t be done via telecoms?"
The detailed Brexit trade negotiations planned to take place this week were cancelled as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
