Good afternoon,

 

An attempt to recover the capsized Floating LiDAR System, located within the proposed Valorous Floating Offshore Wind Farm (FLOW) project site, is expected to be undertaken between the 13 - 16 January 2022. However, this is weather permitting.

 

The capsized Floating LiDAR is still connected to the mooring system and remains in place at the location below.

 

• 51°20.659’ N, 005°40.694’ W

 

It is recommended that mariners continue to remain vigilant and make note of the capsized Floating LiDAR location.

 

The NtM also includes further information about the activity, including programme of works, chart of location and coordinates, navigational safety features, vessel details and contact details.
