The EU, Norway and the UK agree on fishing opportunities in the North Sea for 2026
On 5 December, the EU concluded an agreement with Norway and the UK on the management of shared fish stocks in the North Sea for 2026. The agreement secures 343,000 tonnes of cod, haddock, saithe, whiting, plaice and herring for the EU fleet, worth €609 million. This arrangement secures valuable fishing opportunities and provides predictability for the EU fleet in 2026.....
